      Customize Talent Review Grid & Labels

      As an admin, customize the labels for the Talent Review grid's axes and individual boxes.

      Overview

      As an admin, customize the labels for the Talent Review grid's axes and individual boxes. 

      Customizations to the Talent Review grid are reflected across the platform e.g. Talent Reviews, Succession Planning, the Employee Snapshot, etc.

      Requirements

      • Available to full admin users
      • Available to organizations with Talent Reviews enabled

      Access the Talent Review Customization Menu

      To access the Talent Review customization menu:

      1. Click and expand Administration in the left-hand navigation menu
      2. Click Talent Reviews
      3. Click and navigate to the Customize Grid tab 

      Customize the Talent Review Grid & Labels

      Chart Labels

      To customize the Axes' titles and optionally, the min/max labels for each axis:

      1. Enter the titles for the X and Y axes (Figure A)
      2. Optionally, click and toggle Show Axis Min/Max Labels to title and indicate the graph's orientation (Figure B)
        • X-Axis Label: Enter the label for the lowest value in the Left Label field, and the highest value in the Right Label field
        • Y-Axis Label: Enter the label for the lowest value in the Bottom Label field, and the highest value in the Top Label field
      3. Click Preview to confirm the label settings (Figure C)
      4. Click Save

      Individual Box Labels

      If the individual boxes for the Talent Review grid are customized, the quadrant titles, i.e. Reset and Align, Stretch and Grow, etc., and the i (information) icon at the center of the grid are disabled.

      The following reflects the screenshots and instructions for a 16-box Talent Review grid. Other formats i.e. 9-box, 5x4, etc. are supported and can be customized by following the instructions below.

      To customize the labels for each box:

      1. Enter the title for each box in the Title field (Figure A)
      2. Click Preview to confirm the box titles (Figure B)
      3. Click Save

      Label Translations

      To add and manage translations for the Chart and Box labels:

      1. Click and expand the [current language] drop-down
      2. Click the language to manage translations for
      3. Add and edit the translations for all of the Chart and Box label fields
      4. Repeat steps 1-3 for any additional language
      5. Click Save

      Talent Review Exports

      Talent Review analytics can be exported as an XLS file. Learn more about Talent Review exports.

      Customized Talent Review charts, labels, and any existing translations are reflected in the XLS export.
