How to Use the Goal Assistant

To use the Goal Assistant for new goals:

  1. Click Goals in the left-hand navigation menu 
  2. Click Create a New Goal in the top-right
  3. In the Goal Assistant card, complete any or all of the fields
  4. Click Spark Ideas to generate a list of suggested goal titles 
    • Click Regenerate to create a new list of suggested titles
  5. Click any of the suggested titles to populate the Name field automatically
  6. Configure the rest of the settings in the step and click Next 
  7. In the Key Results step, the Goal Assistant will create a list of relevant key results
    • Click Regenerate to create a new list of suggested key results
  8. Click the suggested key result's corresponding + icon to populate the Key Result field with the title 
  9. Verify and adjust the Start, Target, and Percentage fields to match the key result
  10. Repeat steps 8-9 as necessary
  11. Click Next and continue to configure and launch the goal

  • Does the Goal Generator still help me if I don't complete the three questions?
    • Yes, whether you entered your own Goal Name, or only answered one of the three fields, the Goal Generator will still generate a list of relevant and actionable key results.
