How to Navigate 1-on-1s as an Admin
Learn how to utilize the 1-on-1s Admin page in Quantum Workplace.
The 1-on-1s Admin page provides administrators a central hub to configure, manage, and restore 1-on-1 cycles across the organization. Each option on this page gives access to specific settings and tools to help admins maintain consistent, structured, and actionable 1-on-1 programs.
From this landing page, Admins can:
- Configure 1-on-1 settings (A)
- Set up Single (B) or Automated cycles (C)
- Create and manage templates (D)
- Create and manage rating scales (E)
- Restore deleted 1-on-1s (F), and
- Extend 1-on-1 visibility to users (G).
1-on-1s Settings
Use this card to control who can participate in 1-on-1s and set usage restrictions. You can also configure defaults to encourage meaningful and structured conversations between managers and employees. Learn more.
Single Cycles
Single cycles are ideal for ad-hoc or one-time 1-on-1 programs. This card lets you define participants, schedules, and deadlines for each cycle, ensuring each session is organized and tracked. Learn more.
Automated Cycles
Automated cycles help maintain ongoing, recurring 1-on-1s without manual setup each time. Use this card to schedule cycles, assign participants, and track completion automatically, ensuring consistent engagement. Learn more.
Templates
Templates provide a consistent framework for 1-on-1 discussions. Customize questions to align with organizational goals, roles, or specific conversation topics to ensure each session is productive and actionable. Learn more.
Scales
Scales define how responses or ratings are measured during 1-on-1s. This card lets you create numerical or descriptive scales to provide clarity and consistency for tracking progress over time. Learn more.
Restore 1-on-1s
If a 1-on-1 session is accidentally deleted, this card allows admins to recover it. Restored 1-on-1s return to their original cycle and maintain the context of prior discussions. Learn more.
Grant Visibility
