1-on-1s Settings
Customizing the 1-on-1s Settings allows administrators to control how employees and managers use 1-on-1s across the organization. These settings define who can launch 1-on-1s, how flexible those conversations can be, and whether AI can be used to support them.
Permissions
Anytime 1-on-1s (A)
Allow users to independently launch their own 1-on-1s. This makes it possible for managers and employees to start conversations outside of admin-created cycles. If toggled off, all 1-on-1s must be scheduled and managed centrally by administrators.
Restrict Anytime 1-on-1s (B)
Limit who can launch Anytime 1-on-1s. With this option enabled, users can only start 1-on-1s for themselves or their direct reports. With this option, conversations stay within reporting lines and maintain accountability.
Ask AI (C)
Enable AI-powered assistance for Anytime 1-on-1 cycles. This setting allows admins to turn on Ask AI, which can provide suggestions, insights, or conversation prompts to help make 1-on-1s more productive and engaging.
Note: After making any changes to 1-on-1s administrative settings, be sure to click Update at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
