Clearly defining a strategic career blueprint is the first step toward achieving your development goals. Your Career Vision is uniquely yours, crafted through a series of simple, guided questions that make shaping your professional path effortless.
Getting Started
Envisioning where you want to be in 3–5 years can feel overwhelming. We encourage you to approach the Career Vision Assessment with intention and focus. Find a quiet space where you can ground yourself and reflect deeply.
Think back to moments when you were inspired by someone’s career, received meaningful feedback, or felt especially fulfilled—or drained—in your own work. These experiences hold powerful clues about what drives you.
In this assessment, you’ll uncover patterns from your past and present to help shape your future aspirations. There are no wrong answers. This Career Vision is intended to be entirely your own.
Don’t be afraid to think big and be truly honest about your dreams and desired impact. Through the Career Vision assessment, we’ll work on turning those aspirations into actionable goals.
Access Career Vision
To begin, navigate to Growth and locate the Career Vision Assessment on the right of your screen.
- Click Create Career Vision.
- Then, select Get Started.
Taking the Assessment
The assessment will guide you through a series of questions to help clarify your aspirations, including topics such as:
- Identifying situations that boost or deplete your energy
- Reflecting on past accomplishments and areas of strength
- Envisioning your long-term goals to determine your current career focus
Follow the prompts throughout the assessment, tracking your status towards completion in the progress bar at the top right of the screen.
Note: Your progress will be saved automatically, allowing you to return later if needed.
After the Assessment
Once you’ve completed the assessment, your personalized Career Vision will be generated based on your responses.
This includes a vision for Now, Next, and Later, which breaks down your career aspirations into clearly defined, achievable steps.
Edit Your Results
Once your Career Vision has been generated, you can easily edit any details in Now, Next, and Later before saving to your Growth Plan by selecting the icon in the right corner of each phase. 
We encourage you to customize this vision to fit your personal aspirations. If something doesn’t seem quite right for you, feel free to make it your own!
Once saved, you’ll still have the option to edit your Career Vision from your Growth Plan. To do so, select Edit Vision under your Career Vision on the right of your screen.
Retake the Assessment
Your Career Vision is personalized based on your responses to the assessment, but career goals naturally evolve. You might develop new skills, discover fresh interests, or reconsider your long-term path altogether.
When that happens, it’s a great time to retake the assessment to ensure your Growth Plan continues to reflect your current aspirations.
To get started, click Retake Assessment on the right side of your Growth Plan, under Your Career Vision.
Now that you've developed your Career Vision, take the next step by adding Growth Areas and Plan Actions to start turning your goals into reality.
