Overview

As an admin, you can update the close date of 1-on-1 instances and cycles. 

If a 1-on-1 has passed the close date, 1-on-1 participants can not add/edit their responses and comments.

Extend the 1-on-1 close date to change participant statuses and allow them to update their responses and comments. Learn how to change the status of a 1-on-1.

Requirements

Extend a 1-on-1 Instance

To extend the close date of a 1-on-1 instance that has passed the cycle's close date:

1. Open the incomplete 1-on-1 that has passed the cycle's end date
2. Click Extend 1-on-1 in the banner notification to open the Extend 1-on-1 modal
3. Click the date field to select the new 1-on-1 instance's new end date
4. Click Save

Note: Notifications about the new end date are not sent to participants.

Extend a 1-on-1 Cycle

To extend the close date of a 1-on-1 cycle:

1. Click and expand Administration in the left-hand navigation menu; click 1-on-1s
2. Click the appropriate card, either Single Cycles or Automated Cycles
3. Click the 1-on-1 cycle to extend
4. Click and expand step 3- Set Schedule & Milestones
5. Click the field date in the Cycle Locks card
6. Select the new close date and time
7. Click Save Changes
