Swag Points in Assembly

Use swag points to give your employees points to redeem specifically for swag-related reward items.

This article is for all Assembly users.

Swag points are a special type of point you can earn and redeem exclusively for swag-related rewards. They work similarly to regular points but are dedicated to merchandise redemptions.

Requirements

  • Only admins can set up and configure swag points
  • When enabled, all employees can earn and redeem swag points

How Swag Points Are Earned

Swag points are automatically available in these features once your admin enables them:

  • Welcome bot
  • Awards
  • Earned balance deposits

Your admin must configure each feature to give swag points—swag points don't automatically accompany regular points.

How Swag Points Work

  • Only employees who can receive points (roles: 'receiver' or 'normal') can redeem swag points
  • Swag points have the same USD value as regular points
  • If your organization has exchange rates for different locations, swag points follow those rates
  • Swag points are shown separately in your points widget if you have at least 1 swag point
  • Swag points can only be redeemed for swag items (Axomo, Covver, or custom swag)
  • You can combine swag points + regular points to redeem, or use just one type

Redeeming Swag Points

  1. Click Recognition in Quantum Workplace
  2. Click 'Rewards' in the left navigation in Assembly
  3. Click 'Swag'
  4. Select the swag item you want to redeem
  5. You can only select items you have enough points (regular + swag combined) to afford
  6. On the confirm details step, check 'Use swag points'
  7. Enter the amount of swag points you want to use (optional if you have enough regular points)
  8. Click 'Place order'

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use swag points for anything besides swag?
No. Swag points are exclusively for swag redemptions. For other rewards, use your regular earned points.

Do swag points expire?
No. Like regular earned points, swag points don't expire and can be saved indefinitely.

What if I have swag points but want to redeem something else?
You must use regular earned points for non-swag rewards. You can only use swag points for swag items.
