      Survey Styling

      Use the Styling page to customize a survey to align with your organization's color scheme and branding, or to tailor a survey for a specific initiative.

      Use the Styling page to customize a survey to align with your organization's color scheme and branding, or to tailor a survey for a specific initiative.

      Requirements

      • Available to admin and survey-admin users

      Access Survey Styling

      The Styling page is located on the Questions step of the survey creator.

      To access the Styling page and customize the survey:

      1. Click and expand Administration in the left-hand navigation menu
      2. Click Surveys & Pulses
      3. Click on the survey title to navigate to the survey creator
      4. Click the Questions node to navigate to the Questions step
      5. Click Styling in the left-hand card to access the Styling page and customize the survey

      Customize Survey Colors

      Customize the colors used throughout the survey-taking experience.

      Use the live survey preview to check and confirm color selections. 

      Page Background

      To customize the survey's background color:

      1. Click the colored box under Page Background to expand a color picker
      2. Specify the survey's background color in one of three ways
        • A. Spectrum: Use the spectrum slider to adjust the colors- click the point in the box to select the color 
        • B. Eyedropper Tool: Use the eyedropper tool to select a color displayed anywhere on the screen
        • C. Color Input Field: Click the arrows to switch between RGB, HSL, and a Hex input field to enter the values of the desired color
      3. Click outside of the color picker to close the overlay
      4. Click Save to refresh the survey preview with the selected background color
        • Click the x icon next to the color swatch to reset the survey's background color

      Accent Color

      Accent colors are applied to survey icons and buttons used throughout the survey. 

      To customize the survey's accent color:

      1. Click on any of the available colors to select the color
      2. Click Save to refresh the survey preview with the selected accent color

      Customize Organization Logo

      Customize the logo displayed on the survey.

      To customize the logo displayed on the survey:

      1. Specify the logo displayed on the survey (Figure A):
        • Quantum Workplace: Select to use Quantum Workplace's logo
        • Home Page Logo: Select to use the logo displayed in the top-right of the home page, learn more
        • Custom: Select to upload a custom logo for the survey
          • For best results, upload a PNG/JPG file between 200-400px
      2. Enter alt text for the selected logo (Figure B)
        • To meet accessibility best practices, use concise, descriptive language, e.g. [Organization] logo
      3. Optionally, use the Logo Width/Height fields to further alter the proportions of the logo (Figure C)
      4. Specify if the logo should align to the left, center, or right of the survey (Figure D)
      5. Click Save to refresh the survey preview with the selected logo and alignment
