Overview

Use the Ask AI feature to uncover insights from a survey's comments and open-ended responses using natural and intuitive prompts. 

Requirements

• Available to surveys with comments 
• Non-admin users can be granted access via Access Roles, learn more

Grant Ask AI Permissions

To grant a user Ask AI permissions:

1. Click and expand Analytics in the left-hand navigation menu 
2. Click Surveys & Pulses
3. Click on the survey to access the survey's analytics
4. Click and expand the Admin Controls drop-down in the top-right
5. Click Access Settings
6. Click and navigate to the Access Roles tab
7. Click an existing Access Role or Add Role to create a new Access Role
8. Enable the following options: Reporting Access: Assign Access >  View Comments > Ask AI
9. Under Manage Users in this Role, click Select Users
10. In the Add Users field, enter the user(s) who should be included in this role
11. Click Save

Use Ask AI

To use Ask AI:

1. Click and expand Analytics in the left-hand navigation menu 
2. Click Surveys & Pulses
3. Click on the survey to access the survey's analytics
4. Click and expand the Reports drop-down in the header
5. Click Comments to navigate to the Comments report
6. Click Ask a Question to expand the Ask AI window (Figure A)
7. Optionally, click a suggested conversation starter to quickly get started on a relevant topic (Figure B)
8. Enter a prompt to uncover insights from the survey's comments and open-ended responses (Figure C)
9. Click New Chat to reset the conversation and enter a new prompt

Use Behind the Results

Behind the Results uses Ask AI to reveal additional context behind a question's favorability based on comments left by survey participants for each question. 

To use Behind the Results:

1. Click and expand Analytics in the left-hand navigation menu 
2. Click Surveys & Pulses
3. Click on the survey to access the survey's analytics
4. Click and expand the Reports drop-down in the header
5. Click Questions to navigate to the Questions report
6. Click on a question's corresponding Insights ribbon (Figure A) 
7. Click What's Behind These Results or click and navigate to the Behind the Results tab (Figure B)
8. Click on the suggested question to dive into the question's relevant comment data
