Quantum Workplace uses artificial intelligence (AI) to help you work more efficiently, uncover insights, and take meaningful action.
Our AI-powered features are brought together under one name: Cue. Cue provides helpful guidance, suggestions, summaries, and answers throughout Quantum Workplace.
Cue is powered by Azure OpenAI Service within Quantum Workplace's Microsoft Azure environment. Data entered into Quantum Workplace is not sent to OpenAI's separately operated services for processing.

Quantum Workplace's AI Tools
Cue supports a variety of tasks across Quantum Workplace, including:
- Writing Assistance: Improve and refine written feedback, performance reviews, and 1-on-1 discussion notes.
- Goals & Growth: Create and refine goals, growth plans, and career visions.
- Surveys & Analytics: Summarize employee feedback, explore survey results, and identify key themes.
- Action Planning: Generate discussion ideas and suggested actions based on survey results and other relevant information.
- Recognition: Write meaningful recognition and receive suggestions for improvement.
- Insights: Explore data, understand trends, and ask follow-up questions.
The information Cue processes depends on the feature you're using, the information you provide, and any filters you've applied.
For example, when reviewing survey results, you can filter by an employee demographic to focus Cue's summary on a specific group.
Data Usage & Privacy
Quantum Workplace prioritizes the privacy and confidentiality of customer data when using AI.
- Data Processing: Cue uses relevant information within Quantum Workplace to generate responses, summaries, and suggestions.
- Privacy: Quantum Workplace's AI tools do not independently store the information they process.
- Performance Monitoring: Quantum Workplace evaluates AI-generated outputs to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Internal Evaluation: Quantum Workplace conducts its own AI testing and evaluation rather than relying on third-party training, validation, or testing processes.
Model Training
Quantum Workplace takes steps to protect customer information when developing and improving AI-powered features.
AI models are not trained using sensitive or personally identifiable information (PII).
Instead, Quantum Workplace focuses training on context retrieval, which helps Cue determine what relevant information is needed to respond to a request.
