Organizational Goals

As an admin, set Organizational Goals for large-scale efforts that drive the entire organization.

Overview

Organizational Goals are one of several goal types available when creating goals in Quantum Workplace. Use the Organizational Goal type for large-scale goals that drive the entire organization. 

An Organizational Goal can only be created by an admin and are visible to all users throughout the organization, unless set to Restricted.

  • Available to full admin users

Organizational Goal Visibility

Organizational Goals can be configured as Public or Restricted. Once launched, an Organizational Goal's privacy setting cannot be changed. 

Organizational Goal visibility:

  • Public Organizational Goals: Visible to all users throughout the organization
  • Restricted Organizational Goals: Visible to:
    • Goal participants and their managers
    • Upline managers
    • Admin users

Launch an Organizational Goal

As an admin, to launch an Organizational Goal:

  1. Click Goals in the left-hand navigation menu
  2. Click Create a New Goal in the top-right to navigate to the goal creator
  3. Enter a name for the Organizational Goal
  4. Click and expand the Type drop-down menu; click Organizational (Figure A)
  5. Click and expand the Privacy drop-down menu; click and select the goal's privacy setting (Figure B), learn more about Organizational Goal visibility
  6. Continue to configure and launch the goal
