Overview
As a manager, use 1-on-1 analytics to uncover detailed insights from your conversations with direct reports. Use the different reports to analyze and use the different data available, i.e. response rates, favorability scores, comments. etc.
Requirements
- Available to organizations with 1-on-1s enabled
- Manager Analytics must have been enabled in the 1-on-1 cycle setup by an admin, learn more
- Available to users with a direct report
Access 1-on-1 Analytics
To access 1-on-1 analytics:
- Click and expand Analytics in the left-hand navigation menu
- Click 1-on-1s
- Click on the 1-on-1 cycle name to navigate to the cycle's analytics
1-on-1 Analytics Reports
Overview Report
The Overview report displays the cycle's key details and acts as a staging area to navigate into available reports.
To navigate the Overview report:
- A. Overall Score: The average favorability score across all cycle participants
- B. Questions: The count and type of questions included; click to navigate to the Results report
- C. Response Rate: The response rate for Employees and Facilitators; click to navigate to the Response Rate report
- D. Comments: The number of comments, and if any, the most popular themes; click to navigate to the Comments report
- E. Categories: Indicates, if any, the question's categories configured in the template; click to navigate to the Categories report
- F. Cycle Info.: Cycle dates and number of 1-on-1 conversations
- G. Cycle Settings: Indicates the templates used and other cycle-level settings
Results Report
The Results report organizes all non-open-ended questions to easily view the favorability score for the Employee and/or Facilitator.
To navigate the Results report:
- A. Select Team & Filters: Filter the report's results according to a specific team, demographics, etc., learn more about analytics tools
- B. Overall Results: Indicates the overall score for all of the non-scaled questions for the Employee and Facilitator
- Use Toggle Participants to show/hide the specified user
- C. Scale Used: Indicates the question's scales; click and expand to view the scale in detail
- D. Question Results: Each scaled question and its results
- The N value represents the number of responses
- The comments column represents, if any, the number of associated comments
- The comparison column represents the percent change if the Compare To toggle is enabled
Comments Report
The Comments report organizes all of the comments left by 1-on-1 participants. This includes responses to open-ended questions and comments left on scaled questions.
To navigate the Comments report:
- A. Select Team & Filters: Filter the report's results according to a specific team, demographics, etc., learn more about analytics tools
- B. Question Search/Filter: Use the drop-down to select a specific question or search for comments by a keyword; click Search to apply
- C. Question & Comments: Indicates the question and the response/comment from the 1-on-1 participants
- Click the [Employee Name] link in the top-right to open the 1-on-1 in detail
- D. Comment Count: Indicates the total number of comments for the active filter, slices, etc.
- E. Themes: Add and manage themes to further organize a comment accordingly, learn more
Response Rate Report
The Response Rate report communicates the completion rate for 1-on-1 participants over time, as well as cycle participant and date information.
To navigate the Response Rate report:
- A. Select Team & Filters: Filter the report's results according to a specific team, demographics, etc., learn more about analytics tools
- B. Completion Rate: Represents the completion rate over the course of the cycle for Employees and Facilitators
- C. Cycle & Participant Info.: Important cycle dates and the number of Employees and Facilitators who have shared their responses
- Click View All for the Conversations value to view all of the invited participants and optionally, update user demographics, learn more
1-on-1 Analytics Export
Export 1-on-1 analytics for further analysis and accessibility.
PDF counterparts to the 1-on-1 analytics reports are available. Additionally, a thorough XLSX file can be exported for detailed analysis. Active filters, slices, etc. are reflected in exported reports.
To export 1-on-1s analytics:
- Access a 1-on-1 cycle's analytics
- Click and expand Export in the top-right
- Click an export option:
- PDF Versions: Export a report as a PDF file
- All Results Excel: Export a comprehensive XLSX file with detailed cycle, question, participant, and demographic data
