Manage Feedback Settings as an Admin

Learn how to navigate the administrative settings of Feedback.

Feedback Settings

The Feedback Settings page gives administrators control over how employees request, give, and receive feedback across the organization. These settings ensure feedback is structured in a way that supports your company’s culture and goals.

Permissions

Request Feedback

Allow users to launch and gather feedback for themselves or their direct reports. This empowers employees and managers to take ownership of their performance and development by initiating feedback when it’s most valuable.

Give Feedback

Allow users to provide open-ended feedback to others. This setting fosters a culture of transparency and continuous improvement, making feedback more accessible across teams.

Preferences

Encourage Focused Feedback

Focused Feedback helps feedback become more actionable and constructive. Instead of sharing feedback directly with recipients, managers provide a summary of the input, highlighting key themes and next steps.

Enabling this preference encourages administrators to use Focused Feedback when creating new cycles. Learn more.

Note: After making any changes to Feedback administrative settings, be sure to click Update at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
