Overview
Update and manage the details for the Recognition posts you created.
Access Your Recognition Posts
Use the Search Options from the Recognition homepage to filter Recognition posts according to keywords, people, dates, or badges. Filter posts by your name to view all posts where you recognized a colleague or were recognized by others.
To view your Recognition posts:
- Click Recognition in the left-hand navigation menu
- Enter and select your profile in the People field to filter the Recognition feed with posts you are associated with
Edit a Recognition Post
As the creator of a Recognition post, you can update the Recognition details.
To edit a Recognition post you created:
- Click the ⋮ icon for a Recognition post; click Edit Post
- Update the Recognition post's details:
- A. Recipient: Add/remove recipients to the Recognition
- B. Description: Update the context/background of the Recognition
- C. Badge: Update the selected Recognition Badge
- D. Attach a Goal: Optionally, if the Recognition is tied to an existing goal, attach and highlight the goal
- E. Media: Optionally, add/remove images or GIF files for visual flair
- Click Save
Delete a Recognition Post
As the creator of a Recognition post, you can delete the post.
To delete a Recognition post:
- Click the ⋮ icon for a Recognition post; click Delete Post
- In the confirmation modal, click Delete Post
Remove Someone from a Recognition Post
As the creator of a Recognition post with more than one Recognition recipient, you can remove recipients from the post. A Recognition post must have at least one recipient, learn how to delete a Recognition post.
When someone is removed from a Recognition post, the removal is not mentioned in the post's comments. Email and in-app notifications will no longer be sent to the recipient.
To remove someone from a Recognition post:
- Click the ⋮ icon for a Recognition post; click Remove Someone
- Click x corresponding to the Recognition recipient who should be removed
- Click Save
- Once the user(s) have been removed, click Save
Add Someone to a Recognition Post
When an additional recipient is added to the Recognition post, the added user(s) are mentioned in the post's comments thread. Newly added users will receive future email and in-app notifications associated with the Recognition post.
To add someone to a Recognition post:
- Click the ⋮ icon for a Recognition post; click Add Someone
- Enter and select the user(s) in the field that appears
- Click Add Users
