Add Feedback Providers for Yourself or a Direct Report

As a user or manager, refer to this article if you are asked to select Feedback Providers, either for yourself or for a direct report. You will receive an email notification if you are requested to select Feedback Providers.

Overview

When an admin sets up a Feedback cycle for your organization, they can specify how Feedback Providers are selected. 

As a user or manager, refer to this article if you are asked to select Feedback Providers, either for yourself or for a direct report. You will receive an email notification if you are requested to select Feedback Providers.

Requirements

  • Available to users and/or managers, if enabled in the cycle settings by an admin
  • Available to full admin users

Add Feedback Providers to Cycles with Feedback Groups

If the Feedback template for the Feedback cycle includes Feedback Groups, the suggested Providers, based on the reporting relationship in the Org Tree, are automatically added. Verify and add additional Feedback Providers as needed.

To confirm and add Feedback Providers:

  1. Click Feedback in the left-hand navigation menu
  2. Click Add Providers, in the action column, for yourself or a direct report
    • You may have to click the ⋮ icon to expand a menu with Add Providers
  3. Confirm that the suggested Providers are in the correct Feedback Group
    • Click a user's corresponding icon to remove them from the Feedback
  4. Enter and select the user(s) in the appropriate Feedback Group to add them to the Feedback
  5. Optionally, click What questions are being asked? to view a preview of the template
  6. Click Send Invites
    • Invited Feedback Providers receive an email notification inviting them to complete the Feedback

Add Feedback Providers to Cycles without Feedback Groups

If the Feedback template for the Feedback cycle does not have Feedback Groups configured, users invited to select Feedback Providers can add and invite any user to provide feedback. 

To add Feedback Providers:

  1. Click Feedback in the left-hand navigation menu
  2. Click Add Providers, in the action column, for yourself or a direct report
    • You may have to click the ⋮ icon to expand a menu with Add Providers
  3. Enter and select the user(s) who should provide feedback to the listed Feedback Recipient
  4. Optionally, click What questions are being asked? to view a preview of the template
  5. Click Send Invites
    • Invited Feedback Providers receive an email notification inviting them to complete the Feedback

Add Additional Feedback Providers

Feedback Providers can be added after the initial Feedback Provider selection.

To add Feedback Providers:

  1. Click Feedback in the left-hand navigation menu
  2. Click View Feedback for the Feedback instance
    • You may have to click the ⋮ icon to expand a menu with View Feedback
  3. Click Add Feedback Providers
  4. Enter the user(s') name or email address; click on the user
  5. Click Add People to add the entered user(s) as Feedback Providers
    • Invited Feedback Providers receive an email notification inviting them to complete the Feedback
