Overview
Notifications are sent via email, bell alert, and Slack or Teams (if your organization has those integrations enabled). This article details each notification type and what the email and in-app notifications look like.
If multiple actions share the same due date, they are grouped into a single email rather than sending one email per action.
Growth Cycle Notifications
Users and managers receive notifications throughout the Growth lifecycle to encourage regular updates and consistent action on an ongoing basis. See visuals of these notifications below.
Growth Cycle Invitation
Plan owners receive an email notification at the time of cycle launch. The email includes cycle information and a direct link to begin working on a Growth Plan.
Growth Cycle Plan Share Reminder
Plan owners receive an email notification 7 days before a share-by date. The email includes the action name and an update button that links directly to the Growth Plan.
Growth Cycle Ends Soon
Plan owners receive an email notification 14 days before the cycle ends, inviting them to ensure their plan is up to date the email includes a button that links directly to the Growth Plan.
Nudge Notifications
Managers and admins can encourage employees to make progress or update their plans at any time by sending employees a nudge from the Team Plans page.
The email includes a personalized message from the sender (if one is provided) and a button that links directly to the Growth Plan.
In-App Notifications
In addition to emails, plan owners receive bell notifications within Quantum Workplace. Slack and Teams notifications also prompt notifications if enabled.
A bell notification is sent when a plan action is 7 days before and 1 day past the due date if still incomplete.
Action Notifications
When due dates are set in a Growth Plan, Quantum Workplace automatically notifies the plan owner 7 days prior as those dates approach and 1 day after they pass, if incomplete. These notifications are designed to support users in staying on top of their commitments without needing a nudge from their manager.
