      Goals: Email Notifications

      In addition to the Goal Reminder Email and the Goal Digest Email that Administrators can enable, employees will receive email notifications when they are added to the goal or updates to the goal are made.

      Overview

      As a Goals user, Quantum Workplace will recognize key events and send email notifications to Goal Owners, Contributors, and Followers. 

      This article details each event and what the email notification looks like. 

      For admins, learn about admin-enabled goals emails. 

      Email Notifications: Added as a Goal Owner


      Users assigned as the Owner of a goal will receive the following email notification.

      Please note that others in your organization can create goals and assign you as the owner on your behalf. 

      Email Notifications: Added as a Goal Contributor 

      Users assigned as a Contributor for a goal will receive the following email notification. 

      Email Notifications: Added as a Goal Follower

      Users assigned as a Follower for a goal will receive the following email notification. 

      Email Notifications: Comment on a Goal Post

      Goal Owners will receive the following email notification when someone leaves a comment on their goal post, either the creation post or a goal update. 

      Email Notifications: Removed from a Goal

      Users will receive the following email notification when they are removed from a goal, as an Owner, Contributor, or Follower. 

      Email Notifications: A Goal has Closed

      Users who are Contributors or Followers of a goal will receive an email notification when the goal has been closed. 

      Email Notifications: A Goal was Renamed

      If an Owner or an admin changes the name for a goal, the Owner, Contributors, and Followers will receive the following email notification. 

      Email Notifications: A Goal Type was Updated

      If an Owner or an admin changes the goal type, i.e. developmental, personal, etc., the Owner, Contributors, and Followers will receive the following email notification. 

      Email Notifications: A Goal Description was Updated

      If an Owner or an admin changes the description for the goal, the Owner, Contributors, and Followers will receive the following email notification.
