Deactivating an in-use template does not affect any ongoing sessions. Templates can be deactivated and reactivated at any time.
To deactivate/activate a Performance Review template:
- Click and expand Administration in the left-hand navigation menu
- Click Reviews; click Templates
- Click on the template name to navigate to the template creator
- Click Deactivate or Finalize & Activate
How to Disable Individual Questions
Admins can also choose to disable questions on a Performance Review template instead of deactivating an entire template.
To disable a specific question:
- Navigate to the template question and select ⋮
- Click Edit
- Toggle on the Stop Asking option
- Click Yes in the pop-up modal to disable the question
How to Hide Disabled Questions
By default, disabled questions are hidden to keep the template clean and easy to scan.
-
Show/Hide Toggle: To view disabled questions, select the Show Disabled Questions option in the template editor.
-
Template Order is Maintained: When visible, disabled questions stay in their original order within the template (they are not moved to a separate section).
Hiding a question does not delete it—the question remains in the template and can be re-enabled at any time. This option helps reduce clutter, especially in templates that have been updated or iterated on over time.
Delete a Template
Delete a template to permanently remove a template from Quantum Workplace. Deactivate a template instead to temporarily restrict a template's usage.
