Non-urgent notifications in Quantum Workplace are condensed into a Daily Email Summary.

Overview
The Daily Email Summary, enabled by default for all Quantum Workplace users, aggregates all non-time-sensitive email notifications that a user receives in a day.
The Daily Email Summary is delivered overnight and recaps the events in Quantum Workplace of the previous day. Users only receive the daily summary if one or more non-time-sensitive events occurred on the previous day.
Email notifications for high-priority and time-sensitive events, e.g. survey invites, 1-on-1 launches, etc. are still delivered immediately.
Enable/Disable the Daily Email Summary
The Daily Email Summary can be toggled on/off at any time.
To enable or disable the Daily Email Summary:
- Click your profile icon in the top-right to expand a drop-down menu of options
- Click Account Settings
- Click and navigate to the Notifications tab
- Select one of the two options under Notification Frequency
- All Activity Updates: All non-time-sensitive email notifications are delivered immediately
- Daily Email Summary: All non-time-sensitive email notifications are aggregated into a single daily email
Note: Regardless of the option selected for Notification Frequency, all time-sensitive email notifications are still delivered immediately.
Events that Trigger Separate Email Notifications
Organized by feature, the following events trigger separate email notifications:
Recognition
- You were recognized
- Your direct report was recognized
- You were mentioned in a recognition post or comment
Goals
- You were mentioned in a goal update or a comment on a goal update
Feedback
- A user requested your feedback
- Reminder to provide feedback
- Reminder to select feedback providers, either for yourself or a direct report
- You received feedback
- A user nudged you to provide feedback
1-on-1s
- A user invited you to participate in a 1-on-1, either individually or as part of a cycle
- Reminder to share or finalize a 1-on-1
- Your colleague has shared their 1-on-1 responses with you
- Your colleague has finalized their 1-on-1 with you
Surveys
- Invitation to participate in a survey
- Reminder to complete a survey
Events Included in the Daily Email Summary
Non-time-sensitive events that are included in the Daily Email Summary include, but are not limited to, the following:
Recognition
- A user commented on recognition you gave or received
Goals
- A user added you to their goal as a Contributor or Follower
- A goal you contribute to or follow was closed
- A goal you contribute to or follow updated the due date
- You are made the owner of a goal
Feedback
- A user commented on feedback you gave or received
- A user commented on feedback you also commented on
1-on-1s
- A comment is posted in a 1-on-1
- A 1-on-1 with you had the title updated
